Fishermen,
Lake of Menteith
On a warm evening in May, 1994, Neil & I were walking by the Lake of Menteith, near Aberfoyle in Scotland.
Fisherman were out
on the Loch (word is that a cartographer wrote "lake" by mistake and this became the only lake in Scotland).
The lighting was perfect
and the whole scene took on an old sepia photograph hue. The sepia collection came from this one moment. It has been my best selling
collection.
From fishermen to wind-bent trees, the limited pallete captures the moods of the Scottish landscape in a timeless moment.
Take a while to browse through some of the examples on these pages and do feel free to e-mail me with any comments or questions.
